AI-Generated Content Disclosure

Effective: June 23, 2026

Empires of the Axis and Abyss is developed by Synprax Labs LLC using a small team supported by AI tools. In the interest of transparency — and to comply with storefront disclosure requirements — here is what that means for the content you'll see and hear in the Game.

What was made with AI generation tools

• Store and marketing art — capsule art, key art, and title-screen art were generated with AI image tools and art-directed by the development team against a locked visual style.
• Faction and ship art — art for the eight civilizations' ships and technologies was generated with AI image tools.
• Music — portions of the Game's soundtrack were generated with AI music tools.

What was not

The Game's code, mechanics, economy, and narrative/event text were written and designed by the development team (with the ordinary assistance of AI-powered coding and writing tools, as is now common in software development) — they are not themselves generated art or music content.

Why this disclosure exists

Some storefronts (including Steam) require developers to disclose AI-generated content as part of their content rating and submission process. This page is that disclosure, made generally available for transparency to players as well. It does not change who owns the Game's content — see our End User License Agreement and Terms of Service for ownership.
