Privacy Policy

Synprax Labs LLC (“we”) operates Empires of the Axis and Abyss at https://axisandabyss.com. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices.

What we collect

• Account data: your email address and authentication identifiers (via Firebase Authentication, a Google service) and your chosen display name.
• Gameplay data: your empire state, moves, messages, and game history — needed to run the Game.
• Payment data: where paid features are offered, payments are handled by our merchant of record, Paddle. We do not receive or store your full card number; we keep a customer reference and entitlement records.
• Technical data: IP address, browser/device type, and error logs (via Sentry), plus basic first-party usage analytics, to operate and improve the Game.
• Communications: turn-notification emails (via SendGrid) that you opt into, and any support messages you send us.

Why we use it

To provide and secure the Game, process turns, send notifications you opt into, prevent abuse and cheating, process payments for paid features, and diagnose and fix problems.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with the service providers that run the Game — Firebase/Google, Supabase, Railway, Paddle, SendGrid, Sentry, and Cloudflare/Vercel — under their respective terms, and where required by law.

Your rights

You may access, correct, or delete your data, and unsubscribe from notification emails at any time. Users in the EU/UK (GDPR) and California (CCPA/CPRA) have additional rights, including access, deletion, and opt-out. To exercise any of these, email support@axisandabyss.com.

Retention

We keep account and gameplay data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward, then delete or anonymize it.

Children

The Game is for users 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will remove it.

International

We are based in the United States, and your data may be processed there.

Changes

We may update this policy; changes will be posted here with a new effective date.
