End User License Agreement

Effective: June 23, 2026

This End User License Agreement (“EULA”) is between you and Synprax Labs LLC (“we,” “us”) and governs your use of the Empires of the Axis and Abyss software, including any client you download or install (web build, desktop, or mobile). It works alongside — and does not replace — our Terms of Service, which govern your account and use of the online service.

1. License grant

Subject to your compliance with this EULA and the Terms of Service, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable, limited license to install and use one copy of the Game on devices you own or control, for your own personal, non-commercial entertainment. This license does not sell you the Game — we retain all ownership.

2. Restrictions

You may not, except where applicable law expressly permits it despite this restriction (for example, EU interoperability rights):

• copy, redistribute, sell, rent, lease, sublicense, or otherwise transfer the Game or your license to it;
• reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Game, or attempt to extract its source code;
• modify, create derivative works of, or remove or alter any proprietary notice from the Game;
• use the Game to build a competing product, or extract its art, audio, or text for use outside the Game.

3. Ownership

The Game — its code, art, audio, music, and text — is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. See our AI-Generated Content Disclosure for how portions of the Game's art and music were produced.

4. Updates

We may issue updates, patches, or new versions. Depending on the platform, updates may install automatically. This EULA applies to all versions and updates unless a new version supersedes it.

5. Third-party components

The Game may include open-source or third-party software components, licensed to us under their own terms.

6. Term & termination

This license is effective until terminated. It terminates automatically if you fail to comply with any term, or if we discontinue the Game. On termination, you must stop using the Game and destroy any copies in your possession, without prejudice to any rights we may have.

7. Disclaimer of warranty & limitation of liability

The Game is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. Our total liability for any claim arising from this EULA is limited as described in the Terms of Service §8.

8. Export compliance

You agree to comply with all applicable export and import laws in using the Game, and confirm you are not located in, or a resident of, a country or on a list subject to relevant export restrictions.

9. Governing law

This EULA is governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
