Welcome to Empires of the Axis and Abyss (“the Game”), operated by Synprax Labs LLC (“we,” “us”). By creating an account or playing, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Game.
You must be at least 13 years old (16 in the EU/UK where required) to use the Game. The Game is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
You are responsible for your account and for activity under it. Provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
The Game is an online, asynchronous multiplayer strategy game provided “as is.” Turns process on a schedule; we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability and may modify, suspend, or discontinue features. We may reset, archive, or end games (for example, abandoned lobbies). The Game is currently in active development (alpha); features and balance may change.
You agree not to: cheat, exploit bugs, use bots or automation, harass other players, post unlawful or infringing content, attempt to access others’ accounts, or disrupt the service. We may remove content and terminate accounts for violations.
Some features (such as private game hosting, memberships, cosmetics, or founder packs) may be offered as paid features. Where offered, purchases are sold and processed by our merchant of record, Paddle.com Market Ltd, which handles the transaction, billing, and applicable taxes. Virtual items and entitlements are a limited, revocable license — they have no cash value, are non-transferable, and are not your property. Subscriptions, where offered, renew automatically until cancelled (see the Refund Policy). Prices may change with notice.
You retain ownership of content you create (such as empire names and messages). You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host and display it as needed to operate the Game. Do not post anything you do not have the right to share.
The Game — including its art, code, music, and the marks “Empires of the Axis and Abyss” and “Axis and Abyss” — is owned by Synprax Labs LLC. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to play. No other rights are granted.
THE GAME IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SYNPRAX LABS LLC’S TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE PRIOR 12 MONTHS (OR USD $50 IF YOU PAID NOTHING). WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.
You may stop playing and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms or to discontinue the service.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Wyoming.
We may update these Terms; material changes will be posted here with a new effective date. Your continued play after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
